FOR LANDLORDS
With Limehouse Property, letting a property has never been easier. We are here to make your letting experience as smooth as possible, this guide is designed to give all the information you could possibly want to know in order to ‘get you on your way’. And remember “No Let No Fee”!!
FINDING THE RIGHT TENANT
The category of tenant you choose will depend on your requirements. The majority of tenants are either working professionals, on company relocations or overseas relocations. Whichever, you need to be certain they will be fully referenced and the relevant information meets with your approval. Make sure you give us the profile of the type of person that you wish to let your property to, at the same time you need to be mindful that the less flexible you are with your requirements the longer it can take to find you a tenant.
THE TENANCY AGREEMENT
We will prepare a professionally drafted tenancy agreement to suit your requirements. You will be provided with a copy of the same in order that you may familiarise yourself with the content and take advice if necessary. We are happy to offer any additional information upon request. |
INVENTORIES
All landlords are advised to provide a detailed inventory when renting out their property. This is necessary to protect any possessions remaining in the property. It is not possible to make relevant deductions from a tenants deposit without them having obtained an inventory of all the contents prior to commencement of tenancy and subsequently balancing this at the end of the tenancy. Once an inventory has been prepared, it may be possible to use the same for a number of years, by simply updating it.
RENT PAYMENTS
Most rents are payable monthly in advance, unless otherwise specified. Method of payment of rent varies from one property to another (e.g.: Standing Order, Credit Transfer, Collection etc.)
ADVERTISING
Our broad range of marketing in National and Local publications, on the Internet, Letting Signs and various mail shots ensures a large number of prospective tenants on our books. |
